G&B EXPERIENCE

Here you'll find our heart & soul, our mission & vision, and our raison d'être. At Groove & Bass, we are so much more than just a festival.

Groove & Bass is a new psychedelic electronic music & arts camping festival in Quebec, Canada.

Our mission is to promote alternative artists of many disciplines, and give them a platform to share their art in a universe that will blow your mind! We offer an immersive, beautiful, and chaotic experience through a collective of talented humans.

The Bass Backstory

The first edition of Groove & Bass was put on in the summer of 2021. The entire event was planned and executed just 2 months! About 500 people attended, and we all had a blast.

The second edition was a much more intentional project. From the idea and concept, our team took a year to organize an incredible 7-day, 3-stage festival. We booked some huge international artists in all kinds of electronic music, from techno and psytrance to dubstep and drum & bass.

Due to financial struggles post-covid we had reduced the 3rd edition to a smaller scale, giving us time to recover and restructure.

Our 4th edition is coming next summer on July 26th, 2024. We have so many goodies in store. Stay tuned!

Our Home

Since the beginning, Groove & Bass has been harbored on a gorgeous piece of land that traditionally belonged to the Algonquin people in Bryson, Québec. It is 3 hours from Montréal and 1 hour from Ottawa, Canada's capital.

G&B Ethos

This festival would not be what it is without our founding principles. If you vibe with these - we vibe with you. Our festival can only happen with the support and community created by our fantastic festival-goers.

Welcome Home

First and foremost, Groove & Bass strives to be a welcoming environment for people of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, races, ethnicities, and religions. Everyone is welcome and wanted in this family.

Creative Living

We live and breathe to promote underground arts and music culture, and put it on display for the world to see. And you best believe you can hear us from miles around.

Fuck Yeah

To put it simply - are you ready to fucking party?

Yeah, we thought so.
