  • When is Groove & Bass 2024?
    Our upcoming edition takes place on July 26 to 29, 2024 with an early entry option on Thursday July 25th.
  • Where is the festival located?

  • How can I get there?
    Groove & Bass is located at 17 Chemin Wilson in Bryson, Quebec - you can search for Groove & Bass on Google Maps. https://goo.gl/maps/VhNn7U9uqvXM6KPr6 By car, the festival is roughly 3 hours from Montreal, 1 hour from Ottawa, and 6 hours from Toronto. Join our rideshare group here!
  • Is the festival an all-ages event?
    Groove & Bass is an 18+ event, geared towards adults. We do allow families to bring children under 10 years old, and children are not allowed on the dance floors or in the stage areas.
  • What if it rains?
    We have many covered areas with large canopies and tents to chill out during the rain. Some stages are also partially covered. And hey, who doesn’t like a little dance in the rain?
  • Are you hiring workers and volunteers for the festival?
    Yes please! We need all hands on deck. Please see our "Join Us" page for applications in the following positions: Art & Deco Installation, Live Painting, Bartending, Volunteering, Performers, VJs, Workshops, Food Stands, Kiosks, and Media.
  • What will the weather be like at the festival?
    It is normally hot and sunny during the day, and can get a little cold at night! Prepare with some warm clothing just in case.
  • Can I leave the festival site and come back later?
    Absolutely. There is a beautiful beach, grocery/corner store and restaurants within a 10-15 min walk.
  • Can I use my credit card?
    We are happy to announce that we are equipped to take all methods of payment. Our door, our 3 bars and our merch bar all take cash, credit or debit. However, we have no control over the payment of the different merchant kiosks and food kiosks. It is up to the individual vendor, so we suggest having some cash on hand. The corner store in Bryson has an ATM, but it is out of our control whether it will be full or functional.
  • Keep it Clean and Safe
    Groove & Bass encourages all our festival attendees to follow the 7 principles of Leave No Trace camping.   • What can I bring to Groove & Bass?
    PERMITTED ITEMS: You can bring your own food, snacks, cooking wear, propane stove, and propane BBQ (NO CHARCOAL). Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are allowed, but absolutely NO GLASS. PROHIBITED ITEMS: Glass bottles Charcoal Pets Zero tolerance for weapons of any kind Personal sound systems Personal campfires
  • What kind of facilities and services can I find at Groove & Bass?
    At Groove & Bass, you can expect unlimited free drinking water, toilets, showers, and a cell phone charging station. We have a plethora of food and drink vendors on site, and there is a convenience store just down the road. All the rest is up to you!
  • How can I purchase tickets?
    We're so glad you asked! You can buy your tickets online here (or you can click the giant button at the top of the page. Whichever you find more enjoyable).
  • Do you offer payment options?
    YES! Times are tough for everyone so we are happy to offer a new INTEREST-FREE payment plan, giving you the option of paying your tickets over 3 equal monthly payments for no extra charge.
  • Where do I pick up my tickets?
    All ticket sales occur online, and you will be emailed your tickets after purchase!
  • When will single-day tickets go on sale?
    We do not offer single day tickets, however Friday, Saturday entry tickets (valid until the end of the festival, Tuesday 8am), will go on sale in the spring.
  • Can I come to the festival for one day only?
    You are free to come for as long as you want, however we do not sell single day tickets at this time.
  • Are there premium tickets available?
    VIP or premium tickets are not sold or available.
  • When will the full schedule be announced?
    The full line-up will be announced in Spring 2024!
  • Who are the headliners?
    We are thrilled to host an array of both international and Canadian headliners! Please see our Lineup2024 for all headliner information.
  • Camping checklist
    Whether it's your first time at a multi-day festival or you are practically a veteran. We thought we'd help with a foolproof festival packing checklist! This list covers the necessities and a few extras that you’ll be grateful you packed. Camping Essentials (Keep in mind it's mostly WILD CAMPING) Bring your tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, camp chair, tarp, ear plugs, headlamp or flashlight, toothbrush and toothpaste, biodegradable soap and hand sanitizer, extra toilet paper, first aid kit AND bug spray Camp deco - lanterns, string lights, flags, tapestry, pillows (Make it comfy, you'll be there almost a week) Festival essentials Bring a day bag with sunscreen, sunglasses, camera and phone, money (cash, credit card, debit card) Clothes Pack for ALL types of weather - Bryson is unpredictable Warm clothes and ponchos are a must! Costumes are encouraged Bathing suits are required! (+ towel) Food and snacks There will be multiple food kiosks on site Camping kitchen: Outdoor cookware (camp stove & fuel), a trusty spork, mug & coffee maker, biodegradable dish soap and sponges, lighter or waterproof matches, cooler, food storage containers Ice: We recommend bringing your own ice and we will sell some on site. Water: Drinking water on site (multiple water taps), bring your water bottle Don't forget garbage bags: our Green Team will be picking them up regularly at designated locations. ** LEAVE NO TRACE ** Showers + Bathrooms There will be showers available and free, and portable toilets throughout the site. Power There is no power in the camping areas but there will be charging stations throughout the site Portable chargers are a lifesaver!
  • RV Spots
    RV tickets go on sale March 15th on the ticket page. Keep in mind that there is limited space, save the date and get yours first before they run out.

Festival Guide

& Rules

1 / Festival Entry

The festival opens Thursday, June 29th. General Admission to the site will begin Thursday at 12pm. There will be tickets available for early camping access.

3 / Vehicles

For everyone's safety, you CANNOT drive your car on festival grounds. We have provided all services necessary for a comfortable stay. Also, everything in Bryson is within walking distance (10-15 min walk off site)

5 / No Animals

For everyone's safety, please leave your furry friends at home. No pets or animals allowed on site.

7 / Safety

Zero tolerance for violence and weapons. Violence includes verbal abuse and hate speech.

9 / Leave No Trace

What you bring to the festival, bring it back out!

11 / Respect each other

Take care of and respect your fellow festival-goers.

13 / Respect the town

If you walk in to down and go to the beach, please respect the locals and your environment.

15 / Toilets

When using the flushing toilets, do not flush tampons, large amounts of toilet paper at a time, or anything else that doesn't belong in a toilet.

17 / Emergency

In case of emergency please contact security, medics, or volunteers who will be present at all times around the site.

2 / Wristbands

You must wear your wristband at all times. Anyone who tries to enter the site illegally will be expelled immediately and banned from future events.

4 / Payment types

You will be able to pay at the bar with card, and most vendors will accept cards. No ATM on site.

6 / Prohibited items

No glass bottles, no fireworks, no personal campfires, no personal sound systems. 

8 / Garbage

Pocket ashtrays will be given to you at the door, do not throw butts on the ground. Please use the recycling and garbage bins accordingly. You will be given a garbage and recycling bag at the door to ensure cleanliness of your campsite.

10 / Water

Remember to hydrate! Unlimited drinking water will be available at 2 on-site stations. Only drink from taps marked as drinking water.

12 / Respect our home

Use only biodegradable soaps when washing in the shower or the river. Please do not chop firewood or trees on the site.

14 / Swimming Pool

The in-ground swimming pool is open 8am - 8pm. Lifeguards will be present. Please shower before entering the pool.

16 / Prohibited Areas

Do not cross sections delimited by the yellow caution tape
