Rhythmic Origins
The Pulse Beneath the BASS

Groove & Bass sprouted in the summer of 2021 like a wildflower in the forest — unexpected, vibrant, and full of life. With just two months of dreaming and doing, we brought together a tribe of 500 kindred spirits beneath the canopy, united by rhythm, nature, and the call of the bass.
It wasn’t just an event. It was a gathering of roots and resonance. A place where beats echoed through the trees, feet danced on mossy ground, and strangers became family around fires and frequencies. That first edition planted the seed — and every year since, the forest remembers.
Groove & Bass is more than music.
It’s a ritual.
A return to the earth.
A celebration of sound, spirit, and the sacred pulse that connects us all.

Return on the Journey
Groove & Bass History
Four years of vision, energy, and transformation.
Between 2021 and 2024, Groove & Bass evolved continuously, transforming from a passion project into a true cultural touchstone for a generation seeking meaning, rhythm, and connection. These four years were marked by challenges overcome, records broken, and a community that continues to grow.

2021
Reconnection
In an uncertain global context, 2021 was our year of rebirth. We recreated spaces of freedom, where music and art allowed everyone to reconnect — with themselves, with others, and with what truly matters.

2022
Strategic Growth
We strengthened our foundations: expanding our network, professionalizing our teams, and growing our programming. The result: a wider reach, a richer experience, and increasing recognition within Québec’s cultural ecosystem.

2023
Immersive Experience
A year of boldness. New formats, unexpected collaborations, and reimagined scenography… Every detail was designed to offer total immersion. The audience showed up, and the energy was undeniable.

2024
The Year of Expansion
With record attendance, committed partners, and stronger media coverage, 2024 marked a turning point. Groove & Bass became much more than a festival — a movement, a platform, a signature.
OUR MISSION
Offer a wide spectrum of high-quality musical experiences in a breathtaking natural setting. By curating powerful sound systems, showcasing international and local talent, and fostering a welcoming and evolving community, Groove & Bass aims to celebrate the depth and diversity of electronic music while nurturing connection, creativity, and freedom.
Born from a wild first seed and shaped through deep collaboration, Groove & Bass has grown into an intentional forest gathering where world-class sound meets sacred ground.
Under open skies, across genres, and through workshops, art, and shared rituals from sunrise sound baths to midnight bass, we cultivate a living ecosystem of radical inclusivity, creative freedom, and belonging.
No matter your background or path, you are part of the mycelium, our underground network of connection, growth, and beauty.
Groove & Bass is more than a festival.
It’s a forest-born movement.
A collective heartbeat.
A return to the roots.

Our Principles
Groove & Bass stands on a few simple principles. They shape the way we gather, dance, and build this space together. If this resonates with you, you are already part of it. This festival exists because of the community who shows up with heart.

Community Over Everything
Groove & Bass is shaped by the people who show up. Open hearts, safe spaces, collective energy. We rise together.
Sound as a Ritual
We treat sound as sacred. World-class systems, intentional programming, and artists who move with purpose. Every set is a shared journey.
Nature Leads
The forest is not a backdrop, it is our host. We build with care, respect the land, and dance in harmony with what surrounds us.
